Xander

Many of you that are regular customers, friends or family know that our nephew Xander has been battling Neuroblastoma for four years now. As a matter of fact, Xander was diagnosed four years ago this month and has been through more than most people have to go through in a lifetime. To read more about him you can visit his website at http://www.caringbridge.org/ok/xander/. We just wanted to take a few minutes to update you guys on how great he is doing and asking you to celebrate how God has blessed us with such a strong fighter and energetic six year old, I think this picture shows this to be true. He is still doing chemo and we are praying for clear bone marrow the next time they do tests. I also wanted to include a photo from one of his recent games. He is amazing at baseball (even if it is just t-ball, don't tell him, I think he thinks he plays for a team just as important as the Cubs..... and to most of us, the team is more important because we get to watch Xander and Carter Moore play baseball, what a blessing) I should also note that my nephew Carter also plays on the same team and his picture is displayed a few posts back. Carter is such a sweet boy and loves to play the game also.

The Thompson/Kipf Wedding

Jeff and I have just fallen in love with this couple. They radiate Christ's love in all they do and you can't help but love them as soon as you meet them. We were about the same age as Mallory when we got married and we were married in the same church (Our Church home, Council Road Baptist). It was a real blessing to be a part of their special day and to help capture the special memories. Many of you know our policy on waiting until the bride sees the images from the ceremony before we post them so after Greg and Mallory view them and give us the okay, we will post some from the ceremony. This one is them leaving the church as happy as can be.

Samara and Mac

Whew!!!!! We have been busy! Sorry it has been a bit since we updated last but we have had a few weddings, some family shoots and we spent last week in Dallas attending a seminar learning some really interesting techniques that we are excited to start implementing. So now we are back into the swing of things processing weddings and getting ready for the next one this weekend.

Since we are getting ready for the wedding between Samara and Mac this weekend, I am including a few pics from their engagement session.

The Holden/Booker Wedding

What a sweet, sweet couple and a beautiful and cozy ceremony. This wedding took place at the bride's family home and was such a sweet time between close family and friends. It was so great to be able to be a part of their special day. We will post pictures as soon as the bride views them first. (Many of you know our policy of letting the bride view the wedding ceremony pictures before anyone else) After she views them and gives us the okay, we will post some of her pictures. I can't wait to share them with you. She was so radiant and the couple reminded us of why we love to do weddings!

The A. Brown Family

We always enjoy photographing this family and it is so great to see how much the kids have grown between sessions. This shoot was taken mainly for specific shots they want hanging on their staircase wall. The gallery prints will be at least 24x30 on metallic paper and fused onto a standout frame. Therefore we wanted to get some great closeup shots of the family. Here are a couple from the shoot.

A Life Worth Following, Ambassadors

I had the privilege to photograph a team of talented baseball players playing for a team called the ambassadors. They have an incredible mission and it is so great to see them using their talents for Gods glory. I have a link to the website for their ministry on the side of the blog.

The Andersons

Last weekend we shot the Andersons early in the morning and it was soooooo windy and was getting hot by 9:30am. besides battling mother nature we were able to get some great family shots and Syndi really enjoyed little Judd. Judd really took to Syndi which was great except when he didn't want her to put him down so we could take his picture.

Little Brody is so adorable and was so sleepy by the end of the shoot.

What a cute family!!!

Lexington T-Ball

T-ball at its finest!! We traveled to Lexington to shoot a T-ball game for our nephews Xander and Carter. It was fun to see the boys (ages 5 and 6) playing their hearts out and getting some action shots of them and their team.

The Puckett's

Talk about pure joy with the Puckett family. Andrew the youngest is a true leader. He was the director of the photo shoot. Where ever he wanted to take the picture, that's where we took it.

Brown Family

I had the opportunity to shoot the entire Brown Family. We just loved the girls bright red hair and spirit that could match the color of their hair.
We've photographed the kids for a few years and this was the first time we got to do the whole family.
